The pods

Timber, tartan and a very good mattress.

Each pod is a curved timber cabin with a raised deck at the front and a separate small double bedroom at the back. Most decks are reached by a few steps; some pods have a ramp instead. In between is a living space with a sofa bed, a table for two, a TV and a kitchenette with a kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, electric frying pan and egg boiler: everything you need for breakfast and a simple supper.

Behind its own door is a wet room with a toilet, basin and electric shower. Bedding and towels are laid out for you, the heater is on the wall, and the picnic bench is outside for when the evening is fine.

  • Sleeps up to 4 adults: a small double bedroom plus a sofa bed for two adults or three children.
  • Bedding and towels supplied for the double bed. Sofa-bed bedding available for a small supplement.
  • Private wet room with electric shower in every pod.

Pod questions

Straight answers to the things people ask before they book. Anything else, just get in touch.

How many people can a pod sleep?
Up to four adults: two in the small double bedroom and two on the sofa bed in the living area. The sofa bed can also take up to three children instead of two adults.
What is provided?
Bedding and towels for the double bed are included. Sofa-bed bedding is available for a £10 supplement (£100 a night rather than £90). Mugs, plates and cutlery, a kettle, toaster, microwave, electric frying pan, electric egg boiler, fridge, TV and a hairdryer are all in the pod.
How is the pod heated?
Each pod has an electric heater and runs on a coin meter that takes £1 and £2 coins, so bring a few. The pods are well insulated and warm up quickly.
Is there a bathroom in the pod?
Yes. Every pod has its own wet room with a toilet, basin and electric shower. You never have to cross the field in the rain.
Can I bring my dog?
We do not allow pets in the pods. Dogs may be possible on caravan and tent pitches; please ask when booking.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Pods are ready from 3pm. Please arrive by 7pm so we can show you in. Check-out is 10am on the day you leave.
